Indulge your Valentine with this rich, velvety dark chocolate tart. Made with Nestlé Bakers’ Choice dark chocolate, it’s a decadent yet effortless treat—perfect for a romantic dessert. Finished with juicy raspberries and crunchy pistachios, it’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
Ingredients
  • 250g plain chocolate biscuits

  • 100g unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons pistachio kernels, finely chopped

  • 63g raspberries

Dark Chocolate Ganache Filling:

  • 510g Nestlé Bakers' Choice® Dark Choc Baking Block, broken into pieces

  • 50g unsalted butter, chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups thickened cream

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Prepare the Base
Place the biscuits in a food processor and process until finely chopped. Add melted butter and pulse until just combined. Press the mixture evenly over the base and sides of a 3 cm-deep, 22 cm loose-based fluted tart pan. Chill for 30 minutes or until firm.

Make the Ganache
Place the dark chocolate, butter, cream, and vanilla extract in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth. Pour the ganache into the prepared tart shell and smooth the surface. Chill for 1 hour.

Decorate and Serve
Top the tart with chopped pistachios and raspberries. For Valentine’s Day, consider arranging raspberries in a heart shape or drizzling extra melted chocolate for a romantic touch. Chill for a further 3 hours before serving.
